A Salinas thief with distinctive shoes may be responsible for recent thefts at local businesses’. In both incidents the thief was caught on surveillence video wearing the same striped shoes.
He first hit the leal bakery where he ripped off power tools. Thursday he was caught on camera breaking into cars at another Salinas shop… again stealing power tools. Police say they have footage of him driving away in a Honda with a license plate number.
