On the San Jose state campus, electric scooters were banned on Monday due to over 100 complaints to campus police. A spokesman for San Jose state said “we want people to ride scooters to our campus… not on our campus.”
Meanwhile yesterday, a man was hit on a lime scooter by a tesla driver, near the san Jose State at Sixth and San Fernando streets. The rider didn’t suffer life threatening injuries and the driver cooperated. The scooter rider was reportedly riding in the wrong direction.
