A brief high speed chase took place in Aptos yesterday. It began around 5 p.m. when the driver of a dark-coloured S-U-V went through a red light at the intersection of Park Avenue and Soquel Drive, and a C.H.P. officer tried to get the driver to stop. When the speeding vehicle got near Cabrillo College, the officer called-off the chase….in hopes the driver would slow down.
