Crews are working to tear out the grass median on a Watsonville street, and replace it with more drought resistant materials. The first phase, of the 3 phases, of the Bridge Street Median Project is expected to be completed next week. The grass is being torn out (between Bronte and Tuttle Avenues), and it’s being replaced with drought tolerant plants, wood chips, and drip irrigation.
