If you happen to find yourself near a seal, don’t try to get its attention. That’s the moral of what happened after a video of a man standing on the beach and jumping with a nearby seal appearing to mimic him, went viral earlier today.
The video went viral, but the original poster has removed it. The Monterey Bay Aquarium responded with a post saying interacting with seals is bad for the animals and must be avoided for the animal’s good and everyone’s safety. Also, harassing marine mammals is against the law.
