Although Point Lobos State Natural Reserve (near Carmel Highlands) re-opened to hikers yesterday, people are reminded to stay on the marked trails. To make it safer for visitors, crews have removed 94 trees that were downed by last week’s storms….and impacted the main trails and walkways. There are more trees (off-trail) that they plan to remove in the coming days.
