The United States Department of Agriculture is giving funding priority TO applications that address Opioid Misuse in rural communities. The U.S.D.A. may award grant money for up to 30 projects that provide opioid treatment services in the already-identified 200 at-risk counties. Those applications need to be in by April 15th; while the U.S.D.A. may also award grant money to up to 10 projects for opioid-related work, or for those that provide S.T.E.M. education.
