A Mixed-Use Building (and Community Center), planned for downtown Hollister, has received permission (from the Hollister City Council) to use parking spaces adjacent to the project’s site. The site is on the 400 block of San Benito Street, and the adjacent parking is actually in the Briggs Parking Structure. The current project is made up of 2 phases: the 1st is the philanthropic center, which will serve as office space for various nonprofits in San Benito County. The 2nd phase includes ground-floor commercial space, with second-floor apartments.
