A World War ll veteran recently lost one of his medals while walking on the Santa Cruz Wharf. Sergeant Frank Rimicci said he noticed it wasn’t on his coat when he got home. Roughly 2 years ago he was finally awarded the French Legion Of Honor Medal for his outstanding service (as a train conductor, bringing home French Refugees during the Battle Of The Bulge). The Legion Of Honor Medal the highest honor anyone can receive from France.
