SYNOPSIS:
On above date and time officers from the King City Police Department responded to the 700 block of S. First St. regarding a man lying on the roadway. Upon the officer’s arrival they determined the subject had been run over by a vehicle and was pronounced deceased the scene. During the investigation it was discovered the vehicle which initially collided with the victim fled the scene. A second vehicle then struck the male again. The second also vehicle also fled the scene. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin and he was turned over to the Monterey County Coroners office. The cause of death is pending an autopsy.
