Detectives investigate shooting, stabbing in Aptos.

A suspect is in custody after a deadly shooting in Aptos.
Yesterday at about 4:15 PM, Deputies went to an Aptos home after receiving reports of a shooting. They arrived and found two people suffering from serious injuries and a third person who was deceased.
The two injured people were transported to Bay Area Trauma centers where they remain in serious condition. Early in the investigation detectives found that two different people fired a gun during the incident. Detectives have determined there are no outstanding suspects. Everyone involved had prior relationships and were residents of the same address.
The suspect is under arrest and is expected to be transported to the County Jail upon his release from the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office will be releasing the names of those involved when proper notifications have been made. An autopsy is scheduled for today with additional information forthcoming.
