There were no injuries reported Sunday afternoon after a waterspout literally roared across the Santa Cruz wharf before reaching shore. KION Television reports that the Dolphin restaurant, located on the wharf, lost part of its roof to the storm but is expected to reopen later today.
Another witness told the station that she was on the wharf when the roof was ripped off. She scribed the storm’s roar and rumbling, which felt like a large truck in the warm.
Again, there were no injuries from the storm.
