Salinas Charter HS Remains Open – For Now 12-20-18 08:20 DC

Salinas’ only charter school remains open, but for how much longer is not clear. Millennium Charter High School is $330,000 in debt and has faced declining enrollment. Parents, students, and staff attended a Monterey County school board meeting Wednesday. They were given until February 1st to solve the school’s problems or face closure. The county seeks to replace the charter school with an academy for the students to attend.
