A Salinas man has been sentenced for a lewd acts on a child conviction. 23 year old Jairo Lopez was found guilty of sexually abusing an 11-year-old at the daycare his mother ran in 2013. On Friday a Monterey County judge ordered Lopez to spend 8 years in prison and to register as a sex offender for life.
