A Santa Cruz retail landmark has reopened today after a major burglary forced the downtown store remain closed yesterday. Dell Williams, the Pacific Ave jeweler to generations of local residents, was hit by burglars who came in through the front door Wednesday night and left with nine cases of jewelry. A store associate said they are back in business today. The investigation is continuing.
