A man is in the hospital this morning after a head-on collision in what investigators say is a case of wreckless driving. The accident occurred Monday night near the intersection of East Market Street and Peach Drive in Salinas.
Investigators said a van going west on East Market Street drove into oncoming lanes and hit a white truck head-on. Another vehicle was also damaged.
The driver of the van was taken to the hospital and serious condition.
