O’Neill Sea Odyssey, a non-profit that takes school children out on the water crossed a big milestone last week.
Sea Odyssey’s Dan Haifley of sea odyssey said 100,000 school students have now taken part in the at-sea program. Many of the students have never been on a boat before.
The educational program helps school kids develop an appreciation of the ocean that if so much a part of life in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
