Members of the Ocean Street Extension Neighborhood Association say the may sue to block a new apartment development approved for their neighborhood this week by the Santa Cruz City Council.
Spokeswoman Ellen Aldridge says the suit would involve concerns with the Environmental Impact Report that the council had to approve in order to OK the 32-unit complex, as it did Tuesday night.
Developers originally sought a 40-unit development. Neighbors are concerned about the development’s impact on traffic, pedestrian safety, flooding, and the adjacent cemetery.
