Monterey County Animal Services is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen puppy. Officials say the puppy was stolen from the county shelter on Hitchcock Road on Friday. The puppy was targeted by thieves who broke into the shelter overnight and made off with the three-month-old male black and white Labrador mix. Anyone with any information is asked to call Monterey County Animal Services at 769-8850 or the Salinas Police Department.
