A Scotts Valley man has been sentenced to prison for a fatal D-U-I crash in June of 2017. 39 year old Kristofor Benson was almost three times the legal limit at 9:30 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole. His passenger 27 year old Milkowski was not wearing a seat belt and died of injuries sustained in the crash. Benson was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
