National Night Out was celebrated around the country last night. There were 16 locations in Watsonville, and 14 in Salinas, and many others around the Tri-County area (and the Nation) where residents and their local law enforcement officers get to socialize. The event, which began in 1984, takes place in most states on the first Tuesday in August.
