An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal hit and run collision between an SUV and a motorcycle near Gilroy. The incident took place Saturday at about 7:30 p.m. on Watsonville Road. 24 year old Dillion Oliver was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger was hospitalized with major injuries. The driver of the SUV, 32 Eduardo Gonzales of Watsonville attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended when his vehicle broke down. Drugs and alcohol are believed to be involved.
