Teachers for Gilroy Unified School District and district officials have yet to agree to a contract with the school year less than three weeks away. Members of the Gilroy Teachers Association have worked without a contract since June 2017. In June of 2018, a majority of the union’s members voted in favor of strike during the school year if a contract is not agreed on.
