A 39 year-old Salinas man died after his vehicle failed to negotiate a right turn (after a long straight-away) on northbound Highway 1 in the Big Sur area. The accident took place either late Friday night or early Saturday morning. The C.H.P. said there was dense fog when Anthony Hernandez Junior was driving on the coastal highway that night.
