The Soquel Pioneer and Historical Association is hosting its annual picnic on Saturday at Pringle Grove. The society will talk about the bears that once lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Attendees are encouraged to bring a potluck dish and a suggested donation of $5. The event will begin at noon at Pringle Grove on Soquel San Jose Road.
