No one was injured in either of 2 structures fires in Salinas yesterday, although 3 people were displaced by the first blaze, which did about 50-thousand dollars worth of damage to an Archer Street home. The 2nd was contained to 1 bedroom of a Madrone Drive home. The cause of both fires is still being investigated, although the Madrone Drive fire is believed to have been electrical in nature.
