A documentary about the history of surfing in San Francisco, and a short film about Santa Cruz resident Jack O’neill’s life, are slated to be screened this weekend in Santa Cruz. Filmmakers Mark Gunson and Krista Howell expect to be on hand for the 7-10 p.m. Saturday double-header, and they say they’ll answer any questions afterward. The event is scheduled to be held at the Rio Theater, which is located at 1205 Soquel Avenue.
