Today’s bomb threat at Natividad Medical Center was cleared before 3 p.m, and the pipe bomb at Monterey Peninsula College was rendered safe before 4 p.m. Staff and patients were evacuated from Natividad after the “threat” was made toward Natividad this afternoon; and the “pipe bomb” (that was strapped to a tree near the Child Development Center at M.P.C.) was determined not to be explosive.
