Highway 1 at the Mud Creek Slide is slated to re-open to through traffic tomorrow….by 10 a.m. The Coast Highway has been closed there for the last 14 months, because of a 8 million cubic yard slide slide that obliterated the roadway, and also changed the shape of the California Coast in that area. The official ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday at 10 a.m…..at the Ragged Point Inn.
