The state is providing 1 million dollars toward the construction of the new Felton Library, and Nature Discovery Park, project. That will supplement the 10 million dollars earmarked by 2016 Measure S bond funds, and a recent $395,000 State Parks Grant. The groundbreaking for the new facility is slated to take place in the fall, with the new Library and Nature Discovery Park scheduled to open to the public late next year.
