A 15 year-old was arrested in Salinas over the weekend. That after the teen reportedly approached a person in the area of East Laurel Drive and North Sanborn Road, and asked for his gang affiliation. The person said he did not have a gang affiliation, walked away, and called the Salinas Police Department. When Salinas Police officers found the teen a short time later he had a loaded, concealed, handgun in his waistband. The 15 year-old was booked into Monterey County Juvenile Hall.
