Authorities are investigating the destruction of Delaveaga area mail box. The incident took place late Saturday evening when an explosive device completely destroyed a post mounted mailbox. The blast is thought to from a device larger than usually available in illegal fireworks. A beige Audi was seen leaving the area. Anyone with any information is asked to contanct Santa Cruz Police.
