A 28-year-old convicted felon and gang member was arrested in Santa Cruz on Wednesday morning after police found a loaded firearm in the glove box of a vehicle. Members of the Santa Cruz County Anti Crime Team served a search warrant on Andy Rios while he drove near Mission Street and Towne Terrace. Officers also searched Rios’ home on the 300 block of Younglove Avenue and found firearm magazines. Anyone with information on the case can call the Anti Crime Team at 831-454-2320.
