The Monterey County Sheriff’s office is examining a Big Sur car burglary. Authorities say that on Saturday morning a couple visiting from Spain parked their rental car at a parking turnout. They then prepared for a walk by placing their valuables under the seat. As they began their walk they heard a window break and observed a woman taking their belongings to a waiting black Honda being driven by a male. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Monterey County Sheriff’s office.
