A woman died in a solo vehicle accident last night in Carmel. The driver appeared to have lost control of her car before it went off the road and into a tree, near the intersection of Carmel Valley Road and Carmel Rancho Boulevard. The cause of that 9:20 p.m. accident is still being investigated.
