The proposed Rancho Canada Village subdivision (in Carmel Valley) faces a new roadblock, after a Monterey County Superior Court judge rejected the proposal. The judge found that County Supervisors erred several times. Some of the issues included using an older environmental impact report, and exempting the project from a requirement to provide a range of affordable housing units.
