A 39 year-old gang member has been arrested in connection with an April 18th attempted murder. Juan Hernandez is believed to have confronted a man sitting in a parked car in Watsonville early that morning, and then fired a round at him. The victim did not suffer any gunshot wounds in the incident. Nearby Freedom Elementary School was briefly placed on lockdown that morning.
