California has joined 16 other states in a lawsuit against the current presidential administration. At issue is the Environmental Protections Agency’s plan to ease up on Vehicle Emissions Standards for vehicles produced between 2022 and 2025. The standards would have required vehicles to get 36 miles per gallon by 2025, which is about 10 miles above the existing standard.
