The Santa Cruz Police Department is hosting a exhibit called “Black Lives In Santa Cruz: What Matters” starting today and continuing through May 12th. The exhibit shows pictures and features stories of some of the black residents, and how their lives are effected living in Santa Cruz. All the images and stories featured are from photographer Allison Garcia. The event starts today at 9 a-m through 4 p-m at the community room at the Santa Cruz Police Department at 155 Center Street.
