Members of the public may learn about the draft Environmental Impact Report on the UCSC student housing west, and submit comments at two upcoming meetings. Comments may also be submitted by mail or email through may 11th. The first meeting will be Wednesday May 2nd from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Louden Nelson Community Center at 301 Center St in Santa Cruz. The second meeting will be May 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hotel Paradox at 611 Ocean St. in Santa Cruz. Units will be built for upper division undergraduates, graduate students, and students with families. The project is expected to deliver three thousand beds to campus by 2022.
