Pajaro Valley High School is one step closer to breaking ground on a new athletic field. That after last night’s Watsonville City Council approval of the athletic field project. The city has 7 days to notify the California Coastal Commission of their approval, and the Commission has 5 working days to review the local action, to determine completeness and provide notice for its appeal period. The Coastal Commission’s period for appeal expires after 10 working days, and assuming that no appeals are filed by the commission, the District can then proceed with the project.
