Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study from the Mayo Clinic. Researchers analyzed the breakfast habits of some 350 people. Finding that people who regularly ate a healthy breakfast gained about three pounds in past year. Those who ocassionally ate breakfast gained about five pounds. The group who did not eat breakfast gained some eight pounds. The lead author Dr. Virend Somers theorized that those who ate a hearty breakfast ate less through the rest of the day.
