A Santa Cruz man, who was facing Attempted Murder charges, will now face a charge of Murder….because his victim has died. 39 year-old Miguel Castaneda was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz county jail, after the Friday morning shooting (of 36 year-old Santa Cruz resident Victor Vasquez Lopez) in Watsonville. Castaneda is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in a Santa Cruz county courtroom.
