(06:40) Soquel – A woman was fatally hit by a driver when she was crossing in the street in Soquel on Saturday. The incident took place around 5:00 p.m. on Soquel Drive and Rosedale Avenue. Deputies reported that 21 year-old Julissa Guzman was under the influence when she hit an 86 year-old Capitola woman. Guzman fled the scene, but was found a short distance later in a parking lot. Guzman is facing charges for vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
