A child endangerment investigation led to the arrests of six people in Salinas on Thursday. Following the investigation a warrant was served at a home on the 1300 block of Las Cruces Court. The search uncovered evidence of extensive drug use as well as a loaded shot gun and an AK-47 within reach of a 7 year old child. The child has been placed with CPS and officers arrested 36 year old Jose Castaneda, 26 year old Christian Uribe, 24 year old Joseph Hernandez, 26 year old Gregory Gutierrez, 43 year old Angelita Ramirez, and 38 year old Elaine Rodriguez, all were booked into county jail on various charges.
