(08:55) Salinas – The person responsible for the hit and run, which left a woman in critical condition, has turned himself in. 34 year-old Jorge Osio Ramirez went to the Salinas Police Department yesterday and admitted to hitting 41 year-old Bernardina Leon and her 6 year old daughter at the intersection of North Main Street and Lamar Street on Tuesday. Ramirez was booked into Monterey County Jail for hit and run causing injury, driving on a suspended license, and driving on a suspended license causing injury. Leon remains in critical condition.
