The driver killed in the head on collision on U.S. 101 and Spencer Road has been identified as a 54-year old Salinas man. He was a passenger of a Honda, along with four others, that made an unsafe turn, lost control, and veered into the oncoming traffic. The Honda crashed head on with a Ford Mustang injuring six people who we taken to antiviral with minor to major injuries. The crash is still under investigation.
