A San Jose woman has reached a settlement agreement with the City of Santa Clara over a police incident. Danielle Burfine will receive 6.7 million dollars in connection with an incident where she suffered a broken leg attempting to prevent police from entering her home without a warrant to arrest her teenage daughter. A spokes person for the Santa Clara police department maintains that police did nothing wrong.
