(11:00) Castroville – A woman was shot and killed in Castroville last night. The shooting took place just after 7:00 p.m. on the 10300 blcok of Merritt Street. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office reported that an argument between two acquaintances escalated and a women in her 30’s was shot to death. The gunman is still at large. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities.
