(06:45) Santa Cruz – The Santa Cruz Fire Department is investigating a fire that sparked early Wednesday morning. The fire began around 1:11 a.m. on the 300 block of Trescony Street near an apartment complex. Firefighters reported that a gas line, a fence, some vegetation and a portion of the apartment were on fire. Five people were displaced. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
